Information Overload: Why It Happens and How a System Fixes It

You read a great article, nod, close the tab, and by lunchtime it's gone. That's not a memory problem. It's what information overload actually feels like: not a lack of good input, but the steady loss of it, because you have nowhere reliable to put things and no way to get them back.
